Charlie and Marla moved to Raleigh in 1999 and that is when he first met Steve. Charlie and he worked together for three years at McDonald-York Construction. They both left the company in 2002; Charlie went into sales and Steve, of course, started building custom homes. Premier Building Company was Charlie’s best customer during the five years he sold building materials. His friendship with Steve grew each and every day. Charlie treated Steve like he was a brother and Steve did the same. Charlie knows there will always be a tremendous void in his life since Steve’s passing and he started the Foundation to continue helping people in the way Steve did. He says the Foundation helps fill that void for him.
